Student records and Rights of Privacy
A student or parent/guardian of a dependent minor (as defined by the IRS) is guaranteed access to, students record’s with a scheduled appointment during regular business hours. Records will be reviewed with staff supervision.
A request and authorization to release information consent form must be signed in each instance by the student, (in addition to a parent/ legal guardian if the student is a dependent minor (as defined by the IRS) if the student wishes Master’s Barber College to share information with any third party.
Master’s Barber College will release information contained in the students file only with the written authorization and request from the student, or parent/ legal guardian and student, if the student is a dependent minor (as defined by the IRS), requesting and authorizing such a release except as required under federal, state or local laws.
Master’s Barber College does not publish directory information on students. Master’s Barber College does permit access to students and other school records as required for any accreditation process initiated by the institution or by the National Accreditation Commission of Career Arts and Sciences, or in response to a directive of the commission.
Student files are securely maintained by the administration.
