Master Barber Program Course Outline
Minimum Requirements for Graduation and certification of hours:
- Satisfactory completion of all admission requirements.
- Successful completion of the program of study according to state requirements.
- Attendance in Master’s Barber College for a minimum of 1500 clock hours for the Master Barber Program or a cumulative total attendance of 1500 hours when credit is applied for hours previously earned and certified/released and accepted by Master’s Barber College, or from a Barber School that is authorized by the TN State Board of Cosmetology and Barber Examiners to do so, or otherwise awarded by the State Board of Cosmetology and Barber Examiners.
- Demonstrating satisfactory competency in all areas of the curriculum and academic assignments established by Master’s Barber College.
- Successful completion of all curriculum requirements.
- Successful completion of Master’s Barber College’s written and practical examinations
- Successful completion of Master’s Barber College’s Final written and Final practical examinations.
- Complete and return all Student Surveys and evaluations
- Complete exit interview and all exit documents.
- Payment in full or satisfactory payment arrangements made for all initial tuition and fees and subsequent fees, additional instructional charges, additional transcripts, damaged equipment, etc.… in accordance with the terms of the contract.
- Upon successful completion of all graduation requirements the student is issued a graduation diploma and the student will be eligible to apply for the appropriate state examinations. These standards are applicable to all students attending Master’s Barber College.
- Successful completion is having at least a 67% cumulative attendance average.
- a 70% cumulative average of all test scores in academic subjects and practical subjects as measured per evaluation period and demonstrate the ability to complete training within 150% of the course length.
Barber Instructor Program Course Outline
Minimum Requirements for Graduation and certification of hours
- Satisfactory completion of all admission requirements.
- Successful completion of the program of study according to state requirements.
- Attendance in Master’s Barber College for a minimum of 300 clock hours for the Barber Instructor Program or a cumulative total attendance of 300 hours when credit is applied for hours previously earned and certified/released and accepted by Master’s Barber College, or from a Barber School that is authorized by the TN State Board of Cosmetology and Barber Examiners to do so, or otherwise awarded by the State Board of Cosmetology and Barber Examiners
- Successful completion of all curriculum requirements.
- Successful completion of Master’s Barber College’s written and practical examinations
- Successful completion of Master’s Barber College’s Final written and Final practical examinations.

- Successful completion of Master’s Barber College’s written and practical examinations and Successful completion of Master’s Barber College’s Final written and Final practical examinations. Complete and return the initial Student Survey, as well as the Graduate Student Survey
- Complete exit interview and all exit documents.
- Payment in full for course or satisfactory payment arrangements made for all tuition and fees and subsequent fees, i.e., over contract, additional transcripts, damaged equipment, etc.… in accordance with the terms of the contract.
- Upon successful completion of all graduation requirements the student is issued a graduation diploma and the student will be eligible to apply for the appropriate state examinations. These standards are applicable to all students attending Master’s Barber College. Successful completion is having at least a 67% cumulative attendance average; a 70% cumulative average of all test scores in academic subjects and 70% cumulative average of all test scores in practical subjects as measured per evaluation period and demonstrate the ability to complete training within 150% of the course length.
